Not sure if anyone is getting rewarded these days -- the corner offices are pretty much empty, literally and figuratively. Seems like the plan is to keep reshuffling the deckchairs on the titanic until it can be someone else's problem.

People pay lip service to the idea that you have to operate differently when the assets go down the elevator each night. This firm is a case study in why it has to be more than lip service, and that once the spiral starts, it's hard to stop. The bad economy just sped up what was going to happen anyway.
