Remember, excess inventories have really hampered retailers and have created somewhat of a dilemma for Leap Frog. These inventory issues have since been reduced allowing for LF to start shipping out the latest toys and gadgets. Costco has spent $23million on Leap Frog merchandise just for its western states division. Things will be looking up real soon for Leap Frog. Even people who are concerned about budget will be more inclined to spend in the $30 to $80 range for their kids versus the $100-$300 range.
