I find it hard to understand how the stock trades in the 5s and yet the short position sits at 5.3 mil as of 10/12.

That is a real high number when you think of how many shares insiders are holding. Was the short interest this high in the summer when LGF traded sub 5? The major shareholders could really create a squeeze if they wanted. All the company has to do is give us a little something to get it started.

I noticed over the years that everytime you can almost see when LGF will turn profitable they go and create a situation where you have no clue again. At some point I think they just need to show the street that they can make money. I have had companies in the past who do the same thing. It was almost just to cover up thier inability to make money. They just kept investing and investing in things so they had every reason as to why there were no earnings. What good does it do? At this point someone could give us a 100% premium in a buyout and it would still come to $5 a share plus our debt.

The stock could go to 0 at this point and we still have a market cap of 1/2 billion $. I believe wall street thinks this company has no value at all except for the film library which declines in value over time. If we sold the library for $500 million what do we have that is worth the other $500 million? Nothing.

I think those crying about how bad mangement sucks are right on target.
