I did not see this (my bad), thank you for posting it. Personally, I don't see this as being particularly different from the previous study. Yes, significant weight loss would be a nice bonus, but the point of a diabetes drug is to reduce HbA1c. I hope that LXRX is paying attention to the infections seen with the the AZ/BMY drug and will include additional counseling on hygiene in their phase III trials.
