Once narcotics with naltrexone become available as a practical matter physicians will virtually be forced to use them. Anyone who knows the fear visits from the DEA and state authorities cause doctors will know they will be happy to show these ignorant police that they are using abuse resistant narcotics, and especially naltrexone with oxycodone to replace standard Oxycontin. They know this will go a long way to protecting them, and for most physicians the patients' interests will be second. They will even convince themselves these drugs are better for the patients, even though death is secreted in every naltrexone sequestered tablet.
