The most up to date technology on the planet....paleeease! The Scientific Atlanta 8000HD is an archaic DVR. It isn't the 8300HD model that has been out for years. The 8300HD which I had with both Time Warner and Comcast accepts an external hard drive. Now I move to a Knology area and I can't even use my hard drive. It sure ain't no Tivo either! The interface is crappy on that. Also the interference on my "high speed" connection is horrendous! This ain't no FIOS here folks! It is crazy dated and old speeds!

Knology sold my information away and I now get tons of junkmail. Thanks for the customer service. Whenever I call it takes at least a half hour to get on the phone. The first call to setup service actually took over 2 hours and my cable wasn't installed for 2 and a half weeks! It took three trips for the installers to actually get my internet hooked up right and they were significantly late too!

Up to date technology if it were the 1990s and you are right that no company treats their customers like Knology... unfortunately that treatment hurts like hell!
