For all of you who want this stock to go up, couple questions. What forward P/E do you think KCI would have right now if it had a clean balance sheet? I think it might be something like BAX - which is right now at 12.8 2010 consensus eps vs 7.9 for KCI. That is a 63% premium for Baxter - it would put KCI at $56...right where they were before the LIFC deal. Who's fault is that? Wall Street? I think it's Burzik's for destroying the company. She needs to Go. NOW! There is no way they'll be able to raise equity to pay down the debt with her at the helm, no credibility with the street at all. Everyone knows this game plan...she's cutting costs, destroying morale to try to drive short-term earnings, but KCI is YEARS away from making a dent in this debt load. Read some of the posts on cafepharma.com from employees to get a gauge on the way she's running things. Admittedly these posts are from disgruntled employees, but the tone on the KCI board is the WORST of all pharma/med device companies and this is not a happy space overall right now...very bad things are happening at KCI. Get out now while you can (or short the stock like me!!!)
