Some questions for the next conference call.

1) Regarding the new polymer discussed in the previous conference call: Has that polymer been tested INSIDE the fiber as of the date of today's conference call?

2) Regarding the modulator samples to be sent to prospective customers: Has KVHI determined what polymer the company will use in the samples to be sent to prospective customers? If the new polymer IS NOT the material that will be used in these samples, from what source is KVHI obtaining the polymer to be used in the samples? If the new polymer IS used in the samples, will KVHI be able to obtain contracts from the potential customers before the patent for the new polymer is obtained, or will the potential customers be more inclined to wait until KVHI is issued the patent?

3) Have the potential customers for the modulators visited KVHI's fiber optic facility in Illinois and inspected and approved the facility as a manufacturing site for the product?

4) Have any of the potential customers given KVHI insight into when the carriers expect to deploy 40Gbps networks?

5) If 40Gbps networks are not expected to be deployed for several years, this means KVHI will need to compete primarily in the 10Gbps modulator market and therefore will not have the benefit of being a first mover in that market. Does the company anticipate any difficulties in competing against well-established optical component companies that are already entrenched in the 10Gbps market?

5) During the last conference call, it was noted that the electric utility industry moves at a much slower pace than other industries KVHI supplies product to. This accounts in part for the delays revolving around the current sensor. It was noted during the last conference call that significant revenues from the current sensor should not be expected for 6-12 months. What dollar amount would management consider "significant"? Does KVHI anticipate the economic slowdown in Europe will have any impact on deployment of the current sensor?
