The elephants are locking in or have locked in their profits for the year. They are waiting patiently to get in to most of the tech. stock so they will have a easy start for the new year. Fundamental do not matter at this point...most of the tech stock with good balance sheets beat and forecast better revenue growth. At this point of the game, it is purely technical. Analysts talk down the stock, so their clients can get in!! Once they are in, guess what... they will talk them back up. Pure and simple. This is what being play right now. Intc has been acting terribly for several months. Finally with the stock downgraded and semis in general, I think it is better to get this over with the down grade today so they can upgrade them later. Fundamentally, klic is a much stronger company than last year. The stock will come back to 7ish... it is a matter of time. Fed Wednesday and Unemployment Friday are the wild card. We are very very very close to bottom.
