A casual drive thru the Kansas City BNSF intermodal hub this evening spelled-out to me just how deep the over-the-road freight to intermodal revolution has progressed since JB Hunt placed its' first intermodal load on the train 20 years ago. I spotted, common freight badges like: CR England, US Express, Dart, and many others. Granted, those carriers aren't into double stacking containers as of yet, but they've got one toe in the hot tub.
