As a long-term holder of JST (i.e. seven years), JST is a ten-bagger for me. But, it is followed by only a single Wall Street firm. Now exactly why is JST a ten-bagger?

Well, there are several reasons:
1) The transformers which JST manufactures are huge, man-sized devices operating at high voltage and converting that to significantly lower voltage.
2) JST is one of only two firms in the world for which its core resin transformers have been certified by Underwriters Laboratory, America's primary testing laboratory.
3) As China moves to completion of the Yangtse River Dam, the largest power dam in the world, huge amounts of power will be produced at very high voltage. For Chinese to utilize this power, transformers like JST's will be needed to drop the voltage for use by industry, power stations, homes, etc.
4) JST completed its new Wuhan plant in central China last year, a plant which will allow for a 50% increase in overall transformer production.
5) JST will soon complete its new, huge Shanghai plant which will be devoted completely to wind energy products. Shanghai is only 1,000 miles from the Himalayan mountains, high mountains with almost continual winds blowing at very high velocity.
6) Over 99% of all transformers currently produced by JST are accepted by the user without modification.
7) JST's stock currently sells at a P/E ratio of 8, less than half the P/E ratio of the average Chinese company, yet its earnings for the just completed quarter increased by 44% for the current year compared with last year. This improvement is better than 95% of all reporting companies for the quarter.
8) JST has begun selling its transformers in the USA, with sales increasing by 500% year-over-year.
9) Only a single brokerage firm in the USA currently follows JST.
10) In a recent Motley Fools stock picking contest, last years #3 finisher selected JST for the best performance of all stocks for 2009. 11)China recently appropriated $16 billion (as part of its $700 billion modernization program) specifically for the construction of its electrical distribution system. A substantial part of this funding should flow to JST.
