Giving back to the poor????. Starting a VC is not to give back to the poor. It is to make more money or diversifying. IT can be interpreted as "I dont have faith my company will grow any bigger, so let me cash it out". Do you remember the saying "make hay when the sun shines". He is just stashing away his money in VC so he can ge back in later. But one thing I don not blame him is it is his hard earned money and he has a right to do what he pleases. I do not hold anything against for diversifying or taking the money off the table because he got it in the right means. I was just informing the other investors to be careful.
