HD managed to put many of the mom & pop hardware stores out of business by offering superior service and stacked shelves. Once they (mom &pop stores) went out, HD cut sales reps to the bone and reduced costs, thereby controlling the hardware business to their advantage.All of this is legal and you can call it skimping. IBM does this in a variety of ways just like any other business does this in a legal but maybe not ethical way.Don't worry about IBM being sued, their legal department is second to none. They weren't born yesterday.
