What did you buy in at? I ask this as you may consider another strategy. Although this is a gamble and you should be aware of the risks. Let’s say you paid $1.00 with an investment of $500.00 not counting commissions, you could lower your price per share enormously by buying another 500 shares at .17 this would create an average share price of .585. Remember this is without consideration of commission. Consider an investment of $170.00 purchasing 1000 @ .17 lowering your average price to .446. If the last poster is correct and the company is bought at .50, minus commissions, your investment is $670 and the buyout would pay $750.00. Your average on-line broker would likely charge about $30 for this type of transaction. If there was any serious news of an acquisition of this nature the price would rise sharply and you would not be able to capitalize at this price. On the other hand, Fridays range was .17 to .20 and there appears to be .16 bids afloat you may even shoot for a .15 bid. If your initial investment was $2500 or $5 per share investing an additional $975 (6500 x .15) would reduce your average price per share to .496 a breakeven point with an acquisition price of .50.
