Took the daughter, now a bustling 5 year old kindergartener for her endo check up. We started her on the Omni Pod after being on shots for a few years (She was 16 months old at onset). Her A1C levels have improved and yesterday she was 6.8!! this is down from 7.9 back in April. I think we finally have a good handle on it, but the real improvement has been gained with her A1C through using the Omnipod. We had some pod failures earlier and we ended up in DCA one time this year, but we're a little smarter now and we have learned many of little things to do to keep things running smooth. We have had no pod failures in the last 3 or 4 months so this has been a big improvement.
