And when was the minimum only $20?
The following statement on IB's market data page about the $30 minimum in commissions to avoid the $10 market data fee has been in effect for at least 5 years. "Free (USD 10.00 market data fee if less than USD 30.00 in commissions per month)" Once again, if you are not paying IB way over $30 a month in commissions you are not an active trader and should be using another broker. There are plenty of other brokers with zero monthly fees, so just use one of them. IB doesn't want customers who don't trade. Rating :
