This looks like great time to buy; the sector has been out of favor for quite a while. Given the extraordinary high yield and the cash flow to support the dividend, there has got to be a time soon when analysts will realize this company and sector is undervalued. I could see a div yield of 6.5% and that would represent the stock doubling from here.

The problem appears to be that the market sees the losses, but those are paper losses and don't represent the extraordinary positive cash flow being generated.

As for the acquisitions, it increases the footprint and enterprise value of the company. The acquisitions appear to be accretive to cash flow and likely make the company more marketable as a target (or they will continue to grow thru acquisitions). Meanwhile, getting a >13% yield is not bad. In fact, the share I had from before I have automatically reinvesting in more shares to the position accumulates automatically at these levels. Of course, the sector has been out of favor for so long, it could still be a while until it gets notices. Who knows for sure? Fairpoint went bust, but they had different issues with debt and a blown-up relationship with Verizon apparently.
