The 100 theater AMC deal was announced on December 6, 2007 and the 31 theater Regal deal was announced in January 2008. The first theaters did not open until August 2008 with the 3 in the D.C. area and the 3 in the Jersey/Philly area, so it took 8 months. But that is because they were the first ones. If AMC or Regal or anyone else wants more it will be really fast.
