From today's Q2 conference call it was mentioned by Haverty's management that accessory sales are running at 3%...YES just 3% ! This is some 40% lower than rumored and also far below the 10% accessories sales volume that Haverty's performance reviews expect of their sales consultants to achieve.

This accessory category has been from an observer's opinion a definate downfall of consumer appeal for browsing and purchasing. Today's conference call more than confirmed that weakness.

Does any other national retailer have such a low percentage of accessory sales?
