heritage, now $33.7M, once had a market cap larger than bridge bank's $45.8M...
focus bank has not been able to ipo yet to make a comparison...

they are community banks that formed when heritage forgot that they were a community bank...lot of good people moved there in the beginning...

focus pres & coo richard conniff & ken corsello chief credit officer held similar positions at heritage & left to form a new community bank...at a hard time when the financial market went to hell...

greater bay bank(san jose national, cupertino nat, bank of santa clara....) got taken out of the picture by wells fargo...

bridge got all the good vp's from heritage & greater bay...a few tried heritage but then went over to bridge...not a "friendly" community atmosphere to work...

bridge's earnings will be released after close today...should be an interesting result to compare with htbk....they have also taken $23.8M in TARP money...

lot of htbk trading volume today...& up...except almost in penny stock territory...
