I don't think its the accountants. It goes deeper, as in all the way to the boardrooms. I have compared the 5yr trend lines of HPOL and PXG against no less than 50 publicly-traded companies and, not a single one came close to matching up like the near identical trends of PXG and HPOL. Coincidence? Sorry, I don't buy it. There are certain members of the BOD at both companies that live like kings, Jim Riedman is one of them. His salary does not support the lifestyle. Family money? Long gone. I sense there is an Enron-esque answer buried somewhere in the shareholders equity line. No way certain heavy hitter shareholders would sit on such huge paper losses for so long if there wasn't an angle to it. Lots of fraud and funny business out there these days. The trend lines are a red flag. Go dig.
