When a company makes a bad debt reserve entry each month they usually look very carefully at those items that are 90 days past due and over. But seeing that THP filed bankruptcy and the loan receivable is now pennies on the dollar who knows. But there is a limit as to how much you can writeoff for your bad debts. And usually it's only up to the amount of your bad debt reserve. I have never heard of a company making an adjustment to stockholders equity. But like I say, I think that was all agreed upon while Paul and company were selling the company away. And after reading some of the articles about the sale, Paul is going to have a job in the new organization. I just wish the stockholders would be able to vote him out. I also read he was from National City which was bought out by PNC Bank. I just wonder how much of an impact he had on the demise of National City? Well, the saga continues, and it seems to be getting worse month by month.
