This is actually very nice news, assuming that they do gross that 16 - 17 million. As I see it, they sold about 9 million in cosopt last quarter, or about 36 million a year. They were looking at a decrease in sales as competition brought in others and price decreases as well. But this contact means that they have booked nearly half of this 36 million in sales, so maybe this might not decrease. In fact given their main competitors problems, hitk may have a nice head start on getting a nice longterm share of this market.

They also did mention a couple of nice markets/products that may be taking advantage of some niches. I'm not talking about blockbusters on the scale of cosopt, but, a few million here, and a few million there, when added, and we might be talking about some real money.

What all this really adds up to, in the absence of fda approvals, is some real support and increase in sales for next year. That is my real concern. We will have a good year, maybe over 2 dollars a share in earnings, but without more I don't know about the future. These contracts and niches, we might be ok for a year of so more - eventually, the fda will give us some more approvals, and we can be assured of growing.
