Will the Oct30 call options expire with HCP below 30?

I've been doubling my return on HCP within my IRA by selling covered calls for a year or so. An ~6% dividend plus ~6%/yr option premium yield. However, it looks like I'll be giving back some of that extra ~6% today if HCP closes over 30. Do you have any criticisms of this income generating IRA strategy. (I'm trying to keep my IRA in fixed income investments with decent yields, since the eventual distributions will all be at relatively high regular income tax rates anyway, while going for the capital gains in my non-IRA accounts.)
