Early this years the Vietnamese government stimulated the eccnomy with a $8 Billion Dollar loan interest rate discount to businesses to fire up the economy to over 5%

What is interesting about this is that the Vietnamese government looks healthier than the US fiscal budget, yet a modest stimulus relative to GDP is causing a huge bout of inflation even though it went predominantly to the supply side.

It seems like this was a huge mistake, but why did they get so hard with inflation and we have not?
