I found out more info on the new director - Weil. He is the manager of Woodbourne which is a 15% owner of the stock (prior to adjusting for bringing the rest of Aston in). Based on the numbers, I would guess it is likely that Woodbourne was part of the meeting along with Talon, North Star and Peerless that voiced their concerns to management.
