What is BBY's compensation model. I have shopped BBY, and I have been told numerous times they do not pay their associates on commission. I do not know their avg wage, but I am sure it is not higher than similiar retail establishments.

I have shopped HGG also, No complaints about customer service, I was greeted and talked to by atleast three associates on every visit.

Stores are crisp and clean.

I do not own any HGG, but have been watching the stock for some time.

They may not be a serious threat to BBY, but the store in my area, gave all the major retailers in the area some competition. When the HGG store opened in our area, my store (HD) saw a tremendous hit in appliance sales.
