Other than that, my guess is that some are missing the point of the difficulty of the timeline and the implications of the Ford deal..

First of all, when you do something sufficiently innovative, and you're dealing with large, slow-moving organizations who are that way by design, things are going to move on slow and unpredicatable timelines..

Second, the implication of the Ford deal is that a Fortune 500 consumer of healthcare services looked at this project every way there is, probably for an 18-24 month period and decided that it was a worthwhile effort.. my suspicion that someone in a position of influence, maybe in the union, had a family member treated with Prometa a while ago and it turned out to be a life-saving situation..

The actual revenues are less important than the signal of the outcome of the due diligence they would have done.. that was sufficient to raise the money with the investment groups and buy the time necessary to see the current sales pipeline through to fruition..

This story has taken a long time to unfold for some very straightforward reasons that make some conceptual sense now and will make more sense in retrospect..
