Xanada, there are two different issues that conflict when discussing Global.

1) There is a short term need to resolve their financing issues and give themselves breathing room to complete the Via project. While I expect any solution including a takeover will be beneficial for shareholders, it will by no means be as great as 2010 and 2011 with rail in recovery and Via in full production.

2) Both G&B and Bach are profitable, and the current year's results are being masked by CAD. Global made a strategic mistake with the Via contract in that they spread the revenues from the up front costs over each delivery. This resulted in huge expenses since 2008, but much greater profit with the commencement of deliveries. So far we have seen only 1 delivery in the results and 3 have been made in total up to August. With 6 more to January and 15 more for next year, add in new business, and CAD can be very profitable.

It would be a shame to sell at $2.50 by the end of this year, only to realize we could have gotten more than twice that at some point in 2010. My preferred route is that management succeed at turning this around and not be sold on the cheap.
