Implied Backlog?      2-Jul-09 09:58 am
In the latest press release the term “implied backlog” is used again. I searched google looking for an accounting definition of the term. GSE comes up all over the place and no other companies. I could not find an accounting definition either, checked Investopedia as well. Looks like GSE is the only company that uses it, often?

Then I searched for “nuclear simulation” to see if other nuclear simulation companies use the term. GSE did not come up at all and that is their main business as I understand it???

So they are known for “implied backlog” and not “nuclear simulation” is my conclusion.

Try it!

A Japanese contract that is referenced was implied for over a year according to them. Seems to me you could imply anything for next 100 years. Nobody else does it for a reason, it is undefined and misleading? What else is implied?
