I don't often deal with public companies, but I doubt that guys dealing in this magnitude are taking backup positions. You'd have to allocate funds for a deal while you wait to see what happens. The big boys would not likely want to wait and would move on to the next deal.

They probably read this board at GRT and know that the public is concerned. Their silence speaks. The deal is not solid or there would be a clarifying announcement.

We know the price would be around $4 if the deal happened or was certain to happen.
