Thank you for considering my point of view. You're close, but not quite, which is my shortcoming for not making clear. What I need is:

- navigation
- cell phone

in one device, and nothing more (except maybe tunes). Those two things need to work safely, accurately, and seamlessly across North America, Europe, and Asia. Despite all the hype and buzz, there does not yet exist on the market a single device that can do at least those two things across three continents. When it happens, I think it will penetrate global markets more significantly than Google Maps for free.

Because I do not need to e-mail, surf, text, network, or app-licate while mobile, a smartphone would be an unnecessary expense for me, both for hardware and the data plan. If smartphone stuff comes on Nuvifone to make it more marketable to a broader segment, that's fine with me, but I'd rather not pay any more of a phone/data bill than what's required to make international calls.

From what I've seen from YouTube posted here, I think the G60's screen would be large enough for me. I hope the next generation Nuvifone from Garmin/Asus nails it, and Nokia can come out with what I need any time now, too.
