Todays price action was quite unbelievable and quite amusing at times. Frankly I would be ashamed to be associated with anything/anyone associated with Wall Street on it today. All that is left is a bunch of gamblers and day traders who look to either pump or dump depending on whether the trend is up or down.

The stock price of GRMN has absolutely nothing to do with the fundamentals of Garmin the company.

I was fortunate to have sold earlier in the high 30s and this
was a God Send.I bought in 2 batches today @ 27.40 and 29 and will not sell until this stock is in the 40s.

Now here is why you should buy GRMN at these levels:
1. All this nonsense of PND commodization and free GPS is crap. People have and will always pay for superior quality and Garmin products are exactly that .... superior quality products.
2. The management is totally commited to the company with heavy insider ownership. That in itself is a good reason to buy into GRMN the stock.
3. The price action of GRMN on a daily time frame means absolutely nothing. This is something I learnt the hard way a few years ago. It is totally manipulated and is best ignored. Identify key levels where you would like to own the stock and BUY at these levels. HOLD your INVESTMENT for atleast a couple of months. My buy levels were triggered below 29 and I started building a core position below 29 again.
4. In my experience any sell off which is due to a INDUSTRY WIDE reason like 'FREE GPS' is not warranted and the stock price ALWAYS rebounds to pre sell off levels. On the other hand if this were an accouting fraud or poor financials I would be worried.

In a nutshell, I expect GRMN to be back in the high 30s/low 40s before the end of the year. Mark this post because it will be my last until GRMN is above 35 and profit from it.
