You may notice my distaste for wooden trestles and bridges. I believe that it was early this year that a trestles was torched on the BPRR up in Pennsylvania, which had to be quickly replaced to gain access to one of the industries the railroad serves.

This week someone torched a wooden trestle on the Lancaster & Chester; not one of ours.

In these times that show the total depravity of man, it is important be proactive to resolve a problem by replacing a trestle that someone can take out with a can of gasoline and a match BEFORE the problem occurs.
