GMK was down over 10% today at the open on the NYSE. An earnings reports may be released today. Cemex opened sharply lower on issuing an earnings report more than 20% below the comparable period from last year. GMK is not a construction company that has been effected by the decline in building activity but both companies are down a comparable amount in today's trading thus far.

I notice that the volume for such a sharp decline is very light. The Mexican market in general is down sharply this morning. Telephone stocks are holding up the best.
