Stock was bashed mainly due to possibility of breaching loan covenants and outflow of assets. The covenant issue has since been solved, while the asset outflow is an issue all asset mgrs or hedge funds face.

Compared to its US peers, it hasn't popped in the recent rally and is still near its 52 week low. The problem with GLG is that even though it is US-Headquartered, almost all its activities are in UK and Europe and not many know much about it.

Its float is a good size but volume tend to be thin, suggesting the presence of long term investors. This stock should never trade below $3 (which it did couple of weeks back). Accumulation at anything below $3.40 (support) should be profitable within the next 2 months.
