We can, in fact, dig ourselves out of this economic black hole by just spending a little bit more (if it is affordable).The truth is that the nation's unemployment rate is only 7%, while Michigan is 10%. If we can all spend 10% more than what we are use to, we can help the people who are unemployed. Maybe if we start thinking of spending the extra money as charity, like donations to churches, or Red Cross, we can change our mind set. We should think of it as helping our neighbors. What fun it is to spend money in the name of helping other people!
