Gaiam through 3Q 2009 has LOST $.16 per share. Gaiam's profit in the last quarter on "unaudited financials" was approximately a very meager $360K. Gaiam has turned the corner? I don't think so..... not even close.

Gaiam after years of goosing up revs by mailing millions of unprofitable catalogs- has trimmed its catalog mailings and as a result has $17M less inventory than at the end of 3Q 2008. Its AR is also $2M less than 3Q 2008, while its B2B channel has increased revs for 3Q 2009- so Gaiam looks to have paid a premium to collect revs to show improved cash flow. Ok, Gaiam has more cash, but a just few years ago Gaiam had over "$100M" in cash and yes- its performance measured by growing revenues, profitability and share value has tanked.

So, pray that Gaiam can make alot of money off its Discovery and Jenny Craig deals- because Lululemon is the rock star of the yoga inspired fitness market and Lulu will continue suck Gaiam's best fitness customers away from its retailers and website diminishing Gaiam's leadership and share of the marketplace. Gaiam's Real Goods Solar is a bust....
