The annual Technology Superstar Award recognizes COMPANIES THAT ARE POISED TO BECOME LEADERS in the South Texas technology community. [This isn't just handed out to any company. They have their metrics they apply. It's a solid opinion on the company from professionals that have credibility and objectivity to give the award. SATAI has been around now a long time but they never gave an award to Globalscape till now. I'd like to know what they picked it for, but it's got to be the same reasons we shareholders like it. I think it validates the company and our investment.]

[That says it pretty well what the purpose of SATAI is: they aim to increase awareness, business relationships and sales! of Globalscape (in this case). It's like a new PR department, then. Of sorts. They get the word out better than a press release because they are independent of Globalscape and this is their opinion about Globalscape and it's a very good opinion. It's qualified and bonafide, and as an old saying goes, let another's lips praise you, so we see it here.

SATAI is a business accelerator. As a SATAI Superstar, they will work to advance Globalscape's business relationships and Globalscape's sales. In this respect, it's much more than an award. It goes beyond awarding praise and recognition and bestows new real tangile business opportunities and alliances on recognized companies. It's a very credible award, very credible organization, and they are all about business results. That's business results, not PR results.

That they would choose Globalscape means when Globalscape walks in the door in some circles, local and Texas especially, companies welcome them with much more freedom and with good expectations of them.
