Reading the 1st post of this thread, I tried to leave out opinion as much as possible. Here's some that is a blend of fact and opinion. I don't think my view was outlandish, outlierish.
[Fact:] We clearly went 'straight' from 50 cents to $2.00, and then from $2.00 to $1.60. [Opinion:](That looks like one of many normal charts where nothing is out of the ordinary to me. [Opinion:] It's my expectation the next phase will see the stock continue the uptrend. [Fact:] Using these two lines, one could argue that these are two lines in a possible Elliot Wave move upwards. [Fact:] $2.00 area would be the (1) and $1.60+- would be (2). [Fact:] The one is the upmove, the two is the bottom of the retracement. [Opinion:] Looking at the two lines, to me what we are seeing looks perfectly normal. Perfectly normal. [Fact:] The stock line went up by $1.50 to the $2.00 and retraced 1/3rd of that line move back down to $1.50/$1.60. What about the Elliot Wave #3? [Fact:] Well, the same investors that took it up from 50 cents are still around, and [Fact:] new investors are watching for the money to be shown, [Opinion/Belief:] so if the company has another good quarter and more good news, we'll move up. Now if I want to pick on the facts of this, I'd say it went past $2.00 to $2.44, but I know that, and the context I said $2.00 was in drawing the line of best fit, which indeed goes to $2.00 not $2.44. Doc, I try to not portray opinion as fact, and try to be objective. It's hard to be objective and not fall in love with stocks, so I draw up weaknesses to consider just as well as strengths and try to second guess myself whether I'm biased. I recognize if I'm positive at the highs, or negative at lows, I'm missing something; so I try to see clearly. Probably we will be bought at not too far down the road. Oops. [That's opinion.] Then we won't have to worry about selling at the high and trying to buy back in lower. My opinion is the stock should be priced higher. But the weaknesses, some of which I mentioned, help to explain why some sell even at these levels even with insider buying at $1.80s. Rating :
