I know that Apple gets 30% of all "app" purchase revenue for the iPhone. This is a big windfall for Apple because once set up, there is very little cost and this revenue goes almost completely to the bottom line.

Does Google get any revenue from "app" purchases through Android phones, or does this only go to the carriers and "app" providers?

By the way, I looked at the Motorola Droid phone yesterday and was quite impressed.
