Gas prices prevailing under various PSCs: An update (October, 2009)

Nov 5: The website carries here, for our readers perusal, an update on the current gas prices prevailing under various PSCs. The following are the details:
Panna-Mukta:
-- GAIL: Price of $5.73 per MMBTU, effective from April 1, 2008.
-- RRVUNL: Price of $4.60 per MMBTU, effective from April 1, 2008.
-- Torrent: Around 6 MMSCMD of gas is being sold at present, at a price of $4.75 per MMBTU.
Tapti: Currently, GAIL sells around 11 MMSCMD of gas, at a price of $5.57 per MMBTU.
Ravva: GAIL sells around 1 MMSCMD of associated gas, at a price of $3.50 per MMBTU, and 0.3 MMSCMD of non-associated gas, at a price of $4.30 per MMBTU.
Hazira:
-- Multiple buyers: Around 1.3 MMSCMD of gas is being sold by multiple buyers at a price of $5.5 per MCF. The rate is applicable from January 1, 2009.
-- GSEG, GAEL and GSPC: Price of $5 per MMBTU.
CB OS/2 (Lakshmi and Gauri fields):
-- GGCL: Price of $4.60 per MMBTU.
-- GPEC: Price of $4.75 per MMBTU.
-- GSPC: Price of $5.50 per MMBTU.
CB-ONN-2000/2 (Bheema field): Around 0.3 MMSCMD of gas is currently being sold on spot basis from the field, at a price of $5.50 per MMBTU.
