Why would someone pay $4 when they could snap-up much of what they want at 65c? Ever heard of any acquirer paying a 600% premium for a near bankrupt company?
A buyout or merger is probably in the works - as pinewood says they did announce that they have hired KBW to discuss 'alternatives'. Question is: with existing shares being almost worthless, someone buying in doesn't have to give the existing shareholders much of anything. Rating :
