I'm trying a hedge: I bought 100 shares of FPL and also bought two puts on the theory that if the stock rises, the stock will go up more than the puts go down. I will also get the dividend which will tend to make it drop when it goes ex-dividend.

I checked the list of the 100 worst-rated stocks on Barchart and selected FPL from this list.
Barchart uses technical analysis which can be right or wrong, but it does give some clue.
