Lithium: when you put it in water and then dry it, it becomes helium. It is also used to make tritium, types of batteries (shown above), ceramics, enamels, glass, lubricants, rubber products, dyes, had a suggested use as an oxidizer in solid fuel rockets, and with another compound, it is used to treat Manic Depression. Used also as a carbon dioxide in space ships and submarines, military and exploration. Lithium Hydride is used to inflate life boats and balloons and Lithium Deuteride is used as the explosive agent in H-bombs (Seen on the front page).
