This is one rant with which I heartily concur, including most of the details.
Mostly because the effective date of the awards was 3/5/09, which "just happened" to be the lowest price the stock has ever hit! And most of the targets spec'ed had already been met or exceeded. But especially, because the awards exceeded the BOD authority on that date; which was remedied later.

This economy is not one in which lavish golden handcuffs are required to hold on to good talent.
