FDS might have been a good company but it is in an industry that is getting smaller in size. Many of its customers are continuing to lay off large numbers (e.g. Fidelity, T Rowe, Barclays, UBS etc.) and this will soon be obvious in the numbers. In addition, businesses are obviously putting in an effort to cut costs and they will work hard to cut FDS services they are not using. Finally, Capital IQ now offers a product that is as good as FDS and appears to be winning new clients when and if there are any...Who is paying these high prices? GOod luck
