republicans have always been full of really crappy ideas (remember the last one of converting a percentage of SSN contributions to equity investments? That was a good one!) Anyway, there was a six year period where they were calling the shots: asleep before 9-11, invading the wrong countrys after 9-11, doubling the national debt during a time of economic expansion, totally ineffective tax cuts, inept regulation. To blame a new president for the "state" of this huge ship of state is laughable on its face.
