Top lines (or you may say floor placements) are far more important than the easy tasks of improvement on balance sheet. Some day down the road, the improvements on inventory or any balance sheet stuff will stop, and if there is still no performance on sales, this company could be out of competition very soon. This is a wholesale copany with a pack of old names, without its own retailing power (except for certain number of Thomasville franchise), not like Bassett, La-Z-Boy, Ethan Allen or even Havery who truly has a lot of control over its direct or franchise retail stores. Retailers will pick and choose all kinds of names among its competitors, not necessarily buying from these over-priced brands, especially when the company has such a high mark-up (23%+ margin known today).
