Well, what do you know… A month ago FarmerLegacy bemoaned the lack of communication & leadership coming from our elite new management team & PRESTO!! - what should emanate from the company server this week but a new Integration Update Newsletter. Imagine the relief & invigoration that everyone must have felt reading the inspirational words penned by our company's finest. Why, I nearly wet my pants reading about the positive attitudes that our employees maintained after hearing of the company's decision to let them go & how employees were celebrating their 25% pay decreases by working inventorying their warehouses until 8 pm instead of going home to their families.
And what a raging success the integration process has been! Yet nary a word in the newsletter of the stellar successes of the Route Optimization process. It certainly couldn't be due to the sentiments of a few nay-sayers who claim that "You couldn't possibly screw up a route system more completely than has been done here, even if you set out to do it intentionally." This was a UPS program? We should have just bought UPS last March & turned the management of our company over to them, instead of Superior, if this is the caliber of work that they turn out! Words also fail to tell of the successes of the Toughbook training & the integration of the Superior pricing system into JDE. "Good job!" & "Way to go!"
There is one down side of this integration though. The process has become "outrageously challenging and uncomfortable" for our own VP of sales. I suggest that you downsized employees and those of you dealing with wage cuts, stop selfishly thinking only of yourselves & your families and consider what Heidi must be going through & the sacrifices that she has been making for the good of Rocky & this Board of Directors. She needs encouragement & you should be reaching out to her as she struggles to make ends meet both from a management & a financial standpoint.
